Affordability for working families
No one should have to choose between groceries, prescriptions, rent, and keeping the lights on. Lower costs and protect seniors on fixed incomes.
A Veteran for the Valley.
A Voice for the People.
A military veteran and lifelong neighbor of the Mahoning Valley, running to make life more affordable, strengthen our schools, invest in our kids, and bring accountability back to government.

No corporate PACs. No special interests. Just neighbors across the Valley giving what they can. Pick an amount and stand with Wayne.

Making life more affordable, strengthening our schools, investing in our children, supporting our seniors and veterans, creating opportunities for working families, and bringing accountability back to government.

U.S. Army VeteranWayne Penny Jr. is a U.S. Army veteran and a son of the Mahoning Valley, a Cardinal Mooney graduate who went on to earn his degree at Youngstown State University. He wore the uniform of this country and carried those same values home: duty, honesty, and showing up for your neighbors.
You'll find him in gyms across the Valley most nights of the week, officiating youth and high-school basketball, kneeling down to tie a shoe, encouraging a kid who's nervous, showing up for families he's never met. He's running for the same reason: not for politics, but to put the people of the 59th first.
No one should have to choose between groceries, prescriptions, rent, and keeping the lights on. Lower costs and protect seniors on fixed incomes.
Strong schools build strong communities. Fair funding, modern facilities, and real support for teachers, career-tech, and special education.
Every child deserves a chance to succeed. Youth sports grants, turf fields, rec centers, parks, and after-school programs.
No one should go without help because they can't afford it. Expand access, school-based services, and addiction recovery.
Our seniors built these communities. Stronger senior centers, transportation, wellness, and ways to stay active and independent.
I served my country. Now I'm serving my community. Support for veterans, organized labor, apprenticeships, and skilled trades.
Taxpayer dollars belong to the people. End waste, fraud, and abuse, and keep government accessible to those it serves.
Democrat, Republican, Independent. The cost of living affects all of us, and there's far more that unites us than divides us.

This has become one of the strongest issues families tell me about. Communities across the country have invested heavily in youth sports and recreation. The families of the 59th deserve those same opportunities.
